THE NATION OF AD (PART-2)

In the first part we see that when prophet HUD(PBUH) told then worshiping on GOD(ALLAH) , otherwise be prepare yourself for the upcoming punishment from your lord. They refused and said if he is really true what he said then he must come with the punishment that he is talking about. 

ALLAH AZZA WA JAL says in the quran,

	وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۚ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا مُفْتَرُونَ	50
	وَيَا قَوْمِ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا وَيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً إِلَىٰ قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوْا مُجْرِمِينَ	52
	قَالُوا يَا هُودُ مَا جِئْتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٍ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِي آلِهَتِنَا عَنْ قَوْلِكَ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ	53
	إِنْ نَقُولُ إِلَّا اعْتَرَاكَ بَعْضُ آلِهَتِنَا بِسُوءٍ ۗ قَالَ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُ اللَّهَ وَاشْهَدُوا أَنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ	54
	مِنْ دُونِهِ ۖ فَكِيدُونِي جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ لَا تُنْظِرُونِ	55

“AND UNTO [the tribe of] 'Ad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said: "O my people! Worship God [alone] you have no deity other than Him. [As it is,] you are but inventors of falsehood! O my people! No reward do I ask of you for this [message]: my reward rests with none but Him who brought me into being. Will you not, then, use your reason? Hence, O my people, ask your Sustainer to forgive you your sins, and then turn towards Him in repentance - [whereupon] He will shower upon you heavenly blessings abundant, and will add strength to your strength: only do not turn away [from me] as people lost in sin!" Said they: "O Hud! Thou hast brought us no clear evidence [that thou art a prophet]; and we are not going to forsake our gods on thy mere word, the more so as we do not believe thee. We can say no more than that one of our gods may have smitten thee with something evil!" Answered [Hud]: "Behold, I call God to witness - and you, too, be [my] witnesses - that, verily, it is not in me to ascribe divinity, as you do, beside Him! Contrive, then, [anything that you may wish] against me, all of you, and give me no respite!”

But somehow Abu thamud began to listen to  what HUD was talking about.he began to believe in what HUD was saying about one GOD. When the people of the city know about it they began to tell each other that HUD must out spell on him. But Abu thamud instead that HUD hadn’t put any spell on him. But he believe what HUD saying about one GOD. He also claimed that its so ridiculous to believe in the statues what was made by them. Then he went to HUD(PBUH) to declared that his faith is one god. Abu thamud was then  called Abdullah. He also the servant of their god. But the people of ad’s still come to him and said hud put a spell on him.  By the way Abdullah also declared that his faith is one God. Finally the pat eople gave up on Abdullah. They give a message to HUD that they continue worshiping their way they didn’t listen him and asks again him to come with the punishment what he was talking about. Then Abdullah went to hud remind him what they said to him. HUD said woe to them. Will they argue about the god what they and their forefather made their own hand? Let them what they do. They deserve punishment of GOD. Then he prayed to ALLAH, “give me on victory on what they called me a liar.” Then the order of ALLAH came, the punishment of no rain. There was a terrible drought for three years. Then the grass and cattle are destroyed. After some time they saw that a cloud was approaching suddenly. The people of AD are  so happy. They declared that that was their god. Instead of the black cloud brought a terrible wind that would lift a men up and then drop them such with a force that they could crush.
