THE NATION OF AD (PART-3)
From the last part we know that when the prophet HUD(PBUH) warned that if they didn’t return back to ALLAH then they have ready to upcoming punishment from ALLAH. But the city people said the prophet that they didn’t follow him. if he(HUD) want to return back them then he must come with the punishment what he is saying. Then the prophet make a dua and the order coming from ALLAH. The rain was stop for three years. After three years later suddenly a black cloud appeared. They are very happy and they said each other that the cloud is gift from their GOD. But suddenly the black cloud brought a terrible wind that would lift men up and then drop them with such force that they would crush. Many of them tried to escape from the wind they took shelter in the cave. But there was no escape from the wind. The wind also follow them in the cave.
ALLAH says in the quran,
"And the Ad,they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent: He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that you couldst see the (whole) people lying overthrown in its (path) as if they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down!" (Quran 69:6-7)
ALLAH AZZA WA JAL proved them that who was right and who was wrong. Then ALLAH says in
the quran,
"Now the Ad behaved arrogantly through the land, against all reason, and said: "Who is superior to us in strength?" What! Did they not see that God, Who created them, was superior to them in strength? But they continued to reject Our Signs!" (Quran 41:15)
HUD(PBUH)and his followers who had left to another place, were the only ones who survived this terrible punishment from ALLAH.
THE HOLY QURAN SAYS,
"We saved him and those who adhered to him, by Our Mercy and We cut off the roots of those who rejected Our Signs and did not believe." (Qur'an 7:72)
